Pepper- Recall and Confidence Building
Pepper is a former sled dog who has high prey drive and is a little nervous in the big ole world. I off-leash trained Pepper so she could enjoy long hikes around Boulder with her brothers, then worked with her wonderful owner on building up her confidence in new environments all over Denver.
Axel - Recall and Leash Walking
Sweet Axel is a prey-driven bully mix who couldn't be safely off-leash and dragged his owner all over town on leash. I trained a reliable recall around all sorts of distractions, and they now spend hours freely hiking together across Colorado. He also learned to walk nicely on leash and goes so many more places with his owner because of it!
Dogie - Dog Aggression
Dogie had a history of nasty fights with other dogs. I integrated her with my personal dogs and her (incredibly dedicated, talented!) owner and I used play to show her how to make good choices even when hyper-aroused. She's a goofy girl who found a TON of fulfillment through the game of tug!
Bowie and Blue - My Girls!
I'm here because of Bowie. My sweet Covid puppy who was aggressive to dogs and people. After rehabbing her from these serious issues, I decided to learn as much as I could to help other owners and dogs. Bowie is now a social butterfly who enjoys everything the world has to offer thanks to excellent training. She climbs, backpacks, and mountain bikes with me.
Blue is my German Shepherd, my crazy lady. We train for dog sports together and she keeps me on my TOES! Here's a clip from our first trial.
